Angel Tree

All Saints are supporting the work of Prison Fellowship, a Christian charity which works with prisoners. One of their initiatives is called Angel Tree which helps to keep families in touch by sending Christmas presents to the children of prisoners.angel tree

If you’re interested to find out more about Angel Tree and how it works, please ask Sarah Nicholas or look at the Prison Fellowship website.

Prison Fellowship Cambridge will be sending out about 90 presents to children whose fathers are in HMP Littlehey (near Huntingdon) or HMP Highpoint (near Haverhill). The presents have been chosen from suggestions made by the father, who has also written a gift tag to attach to the present. These presents help to maintain family relationships and show Christian love.

It costs about £20 to buy and send each present.

If you would like to make a donation towards the gifts, please see the poster on the back of the church door and pick up a donation envelope. Cheques (payable to PCC Ashdon) can be given to one of the Church Wardens or to Sarah. If you wish to pay by BACS, and don’t already have the account details, please contact Sarah (s.nicholas180 [at] gmail.com).

Please reference all BACS Angel Tree.

Donations to be made by 1 December.

Thank you.
